I'm no wordslinger. I may read like a rabbit fucks, but that doesn't amount to a whole lot when it comes to stringing more than a sentence or two together or mayhap the occasional clever turn of phrase. A few weeks ago; just shy of a full month, my preferred expressive medium was lost to me with the death of my old camera. It was dying a long slow death as it were and finally it went to Heaven with the little baby Jesus.

I moped.

I pined.

I called Tracy and whined whilst wandering forlornly in the store aisle.

With the roller derby this weekend potentially being insanely awesome, Tracy very very kindly snuck me my birthday gift a little early.

Edit:  Just because I realized not everyone tends to shortcut through my intentions as easily I do - Tracy rocks typically and especially last night for the awesome gift.
